Mount of Temptation
This is the mountain where tradition says that Jesus, after he was baptized in the Jordan, spent 40 days in the desert and was tempted by Satan. There is a Greek orthodox monastery built into the side of the mountain the dates back to the fourth century. There are three priests and two nuns that still occupy the monastery. Hermits used to live in the caves that dot the side of the mountain.
